Blackberry Cabled Cardigan
This sweater is based off of the Blackberry Cabled Cardigan by Alexandra Charlotte Dafoe, using Plymouth Superwash Worsted yarn. I opted to make the sleeves plain instead of cabled for a more modern look, and added two metal scrollwork clasp fasteners in the front rather than four buttons. I also chose to mirror the cables on the back and the fronts.
I wanted more waist shaping so I used smaller knitting needles on the waist section of the blackberry stitch panel in the back to add some sneaky princess shaping. I also wanted to make sure my collar would lay perfectly flat so I made it a little bit wider than the pattern called for, and sewed down the edge of it using the same yarn so that it will stay perfectly folded all day.
