This skull was created by using a plastic model of a skull and adding slabs of Chavant's Le Beau Touché plastaline oil clay on top, and then molding the oil clay in greater detail.

Oil clay was added based on forensic tissue depth models. I chose to follow tissue depths typical of women of European descent and average weight.

After adding slabs of clay, I fashioned them to look like the muscles of the face, based on illustrations in Roberto Osti's book Basic Human Anatomy.

After finishing the muscle layers, I smoothed out the surface to create skin on half of the skull.
