French Braid Quilt
This quilt was based off of the design principles in the book French Braid Quilts by Jane Hardy Miller.
I chose all of the fabrics to look like they were part of a watery landscape, and I chose the fabric with Japanese text to create some additional visual texture.
I chose to quilt the outer border using a pattern that reminded me of water and waves swirling around to tie in with the water imagery.
